Continue in Patience

I keep watching this video over and over.

I appreciate it's message. Patience is a virtue, one I am always trying to work on.

DO YOU THINK YOU COULD WAIT TO EAT THE MARSHMALLOW?

  1. Great video. I kind of want a marshmallow now.

  2. It made me want a marshmallow too. But then I felt guilty.

  3. If it meant I get two marshmallows, yes I could. But then again I am kind of a marshmallow fiend.

Honestly? I could use a lot more patience, especially by the end of the day. Kind of wish there was a patience refill button I could push the closer it gets to 5pm...

  4. I remember learning about this study in a child development class and was happy when President Uchtdorf used it in his talk. I could wait to eat the marshmallow (since I don't really like them anyway!), but if it were popcorn that might be another matter...

The study (and his talk) is applicable in so many ways in my life though.

  5. I have absolutely zero patients. It is something I try and work on, but I feel like I am just programed to malfunction if something wears on my patience. I feel like it is nearly impossible to stop being so impatient. My boyfriend is the most patient person I have ever met, so we are complete opposites there. I think it would be easier for both of us, if we could reach a middle ground somehow.
