Children's Book that Teach Values

Last week, I chatted with Brooke and Darin from Studio 5.

The topic of the segment, "Books that Teach Values."

Books can be such a powerful parenting tool! Are you using them to teach your children?

Have a look at the video. Do you recognize any of the books?

What are some of your favorite Children's Books?

p.s. anyone else love Berenstain Bear Books?

  1. Hi Heather,
I am just finding out about you and am delighted to get to know you. I've spent some time on your blog and watched the Studio 5 interviews and love what you do! I am in a similar area of interest and wanted to get in contact with you since you said on your site to do so if you'd like to work together. I think that is a great idea!
I tried to email you but I had trouble making the connecting from your site through Outlook Explorer. Sorry! So I have to do this through your Comments. So please don't publish this as a comment :) Thanks!
Anyway, I've written or been interviewed for lots of places about relationships like Babble, glo.com, The Wall Street Journal, ksl.com, Family Share and Parents.com and have a book out called, "Parenting With Spiritual Power." I can send you a copy of the book, either and ecopy or hard copy if you let me know. I'll also be on the Matt Townsend show this coming week on BYU radio. My website is www.nelsonjuliek.com and email is nelson_rj@msn.com
I really admire your work and hope to hear from you.

  2. I watched this about a year ago, but it says it is no longer available. Can you post a transcript of the show? Or at least the list of books? Thanks!
