Trust me, this is Great

We are all good friends here, right?
Meeting in person is not a requirement to be good friends :)

Good friends share things. Good friends help one another.
We are all in this together and tips about "us moms" are just as important as tips about "parenting."

A few weeks ago I found a little trick that has made my life easier, happier, and better. No joke, I am a better mom because of it. Crazy I know. But when I feel better about myself, I am a better mom.

This is better than sliced bread, I promise.

Your mind might be racing, what could this be?

It is free (most likely), only takes about 5 minutes and makes you feel great.

It's a hair tutorial. Yep, a hair tutorial.

Now, remember we are friends here. Friends trust each other. Trust me and just try it. I had my doubts too at first, until I tried it. It doesn't matter if you hair isn't really long, and the excuse that your hair doesn't hold curl won't work either. This works, it does.

In fact, my hair is making these wonderful waves/curls as I type.

Sit back, relax and enjoy this lovely ladies accent. She likes to talk, but stick with her, the tutorial part is great. If you are in a hurry, start at about the 5 minute mark. I don't brush mine into the vintage look she does, so I ignore the end of the video. It is the tutorial itself that you NEED to see (right in the middle). She does a really good job with it. I do mine a little looser and I separate the waves with my hands and look like I just stepped out of a beachy-hair photo shoot. It will give you the waves you dream of when you are looking though magazines. Feeling good about my hair helps me deal with the fact that I lost my waist having our last baby and I don't think I will ever find it again:)

This can get me through 3 days with great hair. The third day I pull it up and let the relaxed waves fall loosely around the sides.

After you try it, let me know what you think, did it change your life like it did mine? Do you already know this trick, do you love it?

Anything you want to share with us, your friends?

p.s. I wanted to make my own VLOG, and do a tutorial for you, including our girls, so you could meet them. But alas, I have not found the time and I just can't wait any longer to share. The VLOG will have to wait.

  1. Wow! How very interesting. I would love to see how yours turns out. I love this idea!! But not so sure how it would turn out when I don't want the end result to be so much like hers. Could you post some pictures of how yours looks after? :)

  5. I use hot rollers when I want curls...this looks like it takes more time overall (i.e. dries overnight), but it's easier and does less damage to your hair. Can't wait to see pix of how yours came out. May have to give it a try

  11. Family is the heartbeat of our lives, a source of endless love and support. Their laughter fills our home with joy, and their unwavering presence makes every moment memorable. Together, we navigate life's journey, creating a tapestry of shared experiences that weave us closer. In the warmth of family, we find comfort, understanding, and a love that knows no bounds. Grateful for the bonds that tie us together, our family is the greatest treasure, a sanctuary of love where each member is a cherished piece of a beautiful mosaic.
